I know that there are many out there that need not read this,
but there are too many that should read it and learn something
from it. I would like to make an observation and interject

Who cares if someone doesn't get back to you. In principle
it should be their loss. If you use your imagination in your
mail and try to be noticed and try to be human and speak to
them like they are a person it may warrant a response. What

I have on several occasions been "deceived"

Online etiquette is absolutely ridiculous, people are

It would be nice if we women could respond with a "no thanks"
and have that be it. BUT, I know in my experience, that lots
of guys don't take that as the end. They write back, saying
things like "Why don't you think we are compatible" or "Give

Women need to decline more respectfully 1/15/2003
I've just been on this site a few months and I must say
that in such a consolidated amount of time, I have learned
